I recently spent a night at the Hostal, and while it was decent overall, it’s essential to weigh the cost against what you get. The location is a highlight—easily accessible to the city center, which is ideal for those keen to explore Madrid. My room was clean and spacious enough, but I faced issues with the Wi-Fi on the second floor, which struggled to connect consistently; the staff mentioned a fix was in the works. On the upside, complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. The common areas did have a certain charm, especially the patio. If the Wi-Fi gets sorted, this place could offer excellent value for those on a budget looking to enjoy Madrid without breaking the bank. It’s worth considering!
